Evan Alvarez,

Principal

Evan M. Alvarez is a Principal at Frontline Strategies, a leading governmental relations firm based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In his role, Evan provides strategic counsel to clients on legislative affairs, regulatory matters, campaign finance matters, and public policy, drawing on a wide range of experience in state government and political operations across the Deep South.

Evan began his career in public service in ninth grade as a page for former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, an early opportunity that sparked his interest in government and policy. He later interned for former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant, gaining hands-on experience in executive operations and constituent engagement.

Upon graduating from Millsaps College, Evan was hired to serve in the administration of former Governor John Bel Edwards, where he worked as an outreach specialist. In this role, he helped strengthen communication channels between the Governor’s office, chambers of commerce, economic development groups, non-profits, local government officials, and key policy partners across the state. Additionally, Evan served as a trusted advisor to senior administration officials on legislative strategy.

After serving for nearly five years in the Edwards’ administration, Evan became the Government Relations Director in Louisiana for the American Heart Association. In this role, he partnered with the National Football League and the New Orleans Saints to advance policies to protect the health and safety of student athletes in Louisiana.

Today, Evan leverages his cross-state governmental experience to advise clients navigating complex legislative and regulatory environments, offering thoughtful insight, strategic advocacy, and a results-driven approach. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends in New Orleans and is a proud member of the Archbishop Hannan Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
